On Thursday, February 24, 2022, we ended the first Annual Impact Roundtable Discussion and Robotics Competition (AIRTAD22) organized under the Yamoransamodel Labs Program to commemorate the 5- years of the Yamoransamodel Labs Program.

The event brought together stakeholders of the Yamoransamodel Labs who shared with the audience and Ghanaians the successes achieved with the Yamoransamodel Labs Program since its inception in 2016.

The President of the Helping Africa Foundation, Dr Deborah Rose, expressed her excitement about the progress of the Yamoransamodel Labs Program and encouraged the project beneficiaries to make good use of the facilities.

Executive Director of HAF, Mr Japhet Aryiku used the opportunity to reiterate the organizations vision to promote STEM education across Ghana.

The event saw other stakeholders share with the audience how they are promoting STEM education in Ghana.

Yamoransamodel Lab 5 located at Kyebi in the Eastern region of Ghana emerged winners of the Robotics competition and Edulab competition of AIRTAD22 out of some 8 competing labs and YM Lab 3.1 located at Akrokerrie SHS won their competition against the Yamoransamodel Labs located in Gambia.

We’re excited about the lives we are impacting with the Yamoransamodel Labs practical skill these kids are obtaining from the labs.

We look forward to sharing our success with the Yamoransamodel Labs in the area of STEM with all and sundry in the coming years.
