From plan to completion
Following a needs assessment and review of three possible sites, the Town Park location was selected for its accessibility and capacity to accommodate the full Yamoransa Model Lab. Construction was completed on 25 September 2021, and the technology installation was finished on 26 October. The center serves 11 schools and 4,351 students across the district, giving young people greater access to computers, creative technologies and practical STEAM learning.
A milestone for Tuobodom
The lab was dedicated on 29 October 2021 in a community ceremony attended by traditional leaders, students, local officials and residents. Speakers from the Helping Africa Foundation, IMPLEMENTERS, regional education leadership and Tuobodom Junior High School joined Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare in celebrating a facility designed to broaden opportunities for learners throughout Techiman North.
